About You
Well organized and systematic with good interpersonal and communication skills. You are experienced within system engineering, have a practical understanding, solution oriented, and you see opportunity where others see obstacles.
Your mission
- Technical responsible for Optime equipment operated and supported through the Aftermarket department.
- Through your role, you will lead a team of Operational Engineers, dedicated to supporting Aftermarket engineering activities.
- Responsible for organizing and maintaining systems and documents related to technical support, maintenance, and operational planning and execution.
- Lead operational planning of Optime offshore operations.
- Lead engineering work related to service, repair, upgrades/modifications, and maintenance.
- Review and approval of procedures, drawings, and schematics.
- Drive and inspire initiatives related to optimization and improvement of Optime equipment.
- Interact with clients, providing technical expertise during meetings and discussions related to operational planning, service, and maintenance.
- Support tender activities.
- Close cooperation with the Aftermarket Service Engineer team.
- Travel domestic will be required.
- Travel domestic offshore may be required.
- Travel international on- and offshore may be required.
Key Requirements
- Master or Bachelor Engineering degree.
- Minimum 5 years experience within one or several leading engineering roles.
- Highly skilled within system engineering.
- Highly skilled with both electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Good knowledge of subsea oil and gas equipment.
- Good practical understanding of subsea oil and gas equipment, preferably in combination with actual field experience.
- Good cooperative skills.
- Good leadership skills.
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing.
