Our community management department is recruiting volunteers to the position of Community Associate. As a Community Associate at Insj you will help us run and develop our mentorship service as well as help plan and execute social activities within our community of student entrepreneurs. Our job is to sustain the relations among student entrepreneurs, students in general, academia and the business community at large. You will be in charge of assisting the mentorship service and activities within the community, and be the right hand to our Community Manager, Jenny!
What you will be doing:
- Support and assist with developing the mentorship service such as recruiting mentors, and follow up on mentors and students using the service
- Plan, participate and execute events
- Update events and resources on our intranet EnableMagic and our internal communication platform Slack, as well report about activity on these platforms to the Community Manager
- Assist other departments such as communication, accelerator and business developer-team with content creation or resources (for example: recruit mentors to workshops, provide student-entrepreneurs to an article on our website etc.)
Who we think you are:
- You are a student in Oslo with at least one year left of your studies
- Are willing to set aside 8-12 hours per week for Insj
- Any study background is welcome, as long as you enjoy networking and communication work
- Have some experience with organizational work, project management and/or events for example from other student organizations
- Have solid communication skills in Norwegian or English
- Are organized, structured and flexible with tasks
- Are interested in entrepreneurship and/or have a willingness to learn about it!

What happens after I apply?
We will review and give feedback on all applications. If you meet our criteria we will invite you to a first interview with two of our employees. If given a thumbs up from these we will offer a second interview with two other colleagues. With this process we hope to get to know you better and make sure our colleagues get to participate in choosing who they will work with. However, we also hope you get to know us better and can better make a decision on whether or not we are good mach for you!
