About You

Optime is searching for a resource that has experience with quality control in manufacturing entities. We seek a person responsible for checking that the goods or services produced by our organization are of an acceptable standard

Your mission

As a quality controller you play a crucial role in our organization. You will be responsible for performing quality checks on manufactured products. You will identify the defects in a product and reject the component or product if required. As a quality controller you will record the detailed information of products with defects and send it to the supervisor or plant manager for taking necessary actions to improve the production process.

  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
  • Responsible for identifying the defects in products and sending them back through the manufacturing process.
  • Interpret machine shop drawings and understand machining symbols and tolerance limits and compare the same to the actual component.
  • Become familiar with the whole production process from beginning to end.
  • Perform stage Quality inspection as required by the job which includes but not limited to: Dimensional inspection, NDT (MPI, LP, UT), Hardness checks, Visual checks, Light Band, Thread inspection, Coating inspection, Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
  • Perform process transactions after completion of QC operations

Key Requirements

  • Experience in Quality Control. (Oil & Gas industry preferred)
  • Min. 2 years of experience on machined parts inspection
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering. Work experience can replace formal degree or diploma
