We are searching for a highly skilled Lead Engineer that will further strengthen and develop our team, primarily assigned to lead and execute engineering support for our Service Department, but also support our operations offshore in the field.

About You
As an experienced engineer in the subsea oil & gas sector, you possess expertise in system engineering, intervention equipment, and offshore operations. With a self-motivated approach, you can effectively contribute to the growth of our service organization by leveraging your technical knowledge and operational experience.

Your mission
As the Lead Engineer for Services in Optime, your primary mission is to drive the planning and execution of offshore campaigns utilizing equipment such as ROCS and SCILS. You will take a leadership role in this effort, overseeing the coordination and management of various technical support, equipment maintenance, and operational documentation tasks. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing HSE- and operational performance, while ensuring that a high level of quality is maintained throughout all engineering activities.
In addition to your direct responsibilities, you will also help drive initiatives to further improve our equipment and documentation. This will involve working closely with cross-disciplinary teams of Project Engineers and Service Technicians to identify and implement new processes and tools that enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. You will also interact closely with clients, leveraging your technical knowledge and expertise to provide exceptional service and support.
Overall, your mission as the Lead Engineer for Services in Optime is to provide strong leadership and technical expertise in driving the planning and execution of offshore campaigns, while ensuring that all engineering activities are carried out to the highest possible standard. Required qualification
- MSc degree in Engineering (work experience may compensate for lack of degree)
- Proven technical experience from subsea Oil & Gas, preferably with good knowledge on subsea workover systems
- Proven experience from technical management, or other related roles
Recommended experience
- Offshore experience from Oil & Gas operations
- Experienced in personnel management
