Føn currently employs 110 people and is present in Stavanger, Oslo, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, UK and Taiwan.
We are experiencing an increased demand for our services, and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Workshop to join our team. The position is based in Tananger, and remote working solutions will not be considered.
Purpose of the position
- Lead the workshop and the employees in the workshop.
- Responsible for the daily operation of the workshop.
- Support calculations and offers to customer.
- Quality assurance of documentation form sub-suppliers.
- Contribute with knowledge and technical solutions.
- Be part of the Operation Management group in Tananger.
- Contribute towards the overall growth of Føn Energy Services.

Responsibilities
The employee will be responsible for the workshop in Tananger and play a significant part in growing our business. In general, the responsibilities are to lead the employees and the daily operation of the workshop in Tananger.
Managing the work
- Plan, allocate, and oversee tasks and resources to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery.
- Implement and maintain best practices for workshop operations, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards.
- Monitor workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements where necessary.
- Ensure optimal utilization of workshop facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to align work schedules and priorities.
- Maintain an organized and clean workshop environment that supports safety and productivity.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and enhance workshop performance.
Leadership
- Needs to be a motivating and confident leader who guides the employees to work in the correct direction.
- Contribute to and maintain a positive work-culture.
